Word is out that active OFS development has stopped. OFS is the current high-performance driver for all Schneider Electric / Modicon PLCs, using its proprietary UMAS protocol. Communication using UMAS and OFS has many advantages over standard Modbus/TCP, like performance and name based variable access.
