MELSECQ protocol can be used to communicate with FX5U, but the addressing system is different. MELSECQ expects Hexadecimal addressing while FX5U expects Octal addressing system.

Idea business value
Many customers use Plant SCADA with Mitsubishi PLC. FX5U has been released quite long time ago. It would be useful to have a native driver. To use MELSECQ with FX5U (different addressing) would be difficult and could be dangerous (possible errors). |
