The Goto Object in the graphics builder is particularly useful when you have grouped objects, but each time you double click to bring up the animation the Goto Object form closes. It would be great if the form could be docked or simply stay open on top, so you can continue to open and bring up animations directly from it. For bonus points allow objects to be moved up/down in the z-axis directly from Goto Object - and even move objects in and out of groups from there too.

Idea business value
Before Goto Object you had to break a group to edit something in a group. With Goto Object you can edit within a group, but only one thing at a time, and you still cannot modify group or z-axis structure. Enhancing the functionality of this will make editing complicated groupings clearer and simpler. |

Plant SCADA is transitioning towards a new graphics rendering engine and technology. Therefore it is unlikely this will be implemented in the legacy graphics rendering technology.
