The kernel is a major PlantSCADA debug tool. It is not available when running as a service. Accessing the kernel required a major reconfiguration of a project in order to perform debugging. Make the kernel available when running as a service.
Idea business value
In order to access kernel of a system that normally runs as a service requires a major reconfiguration of the system and has a significant impact on the customer's operation while debugging is being performed. Having the kernel when running as a service greatly reduces the work required to perform debugging of a system that normally runs as a service. |
